Katherine L. Bishop is an experienced commercial finance and real estate lawyer who has practiced law more than 35 years, including managing her own firm for more than 15 years, in both public and private finance and commercial real estate.

Ms. Bishop has vast experience in the following areas: real property, public finance, both taxable and tax-exempt, health care finance, complex commercial real property and financial transactions, asset acquisitions and sales, including Government-owned real estate, project development, facility and ground leases and land agreements, title issue resolution and title insurance.  Client representation has included Governmental entities, including, the Department of Homeland Security and the Department of Veterans Affairs, FNMA, state agencies, counties and municipalities, corporations, trusts, commercial and investment banks, for-profit and nonprofit health care entities, developers and small businesses.  Ms. Bishop is a licensed title insurance agent, previously owned her own title insurance agency, and continues to work with several national title insurance companies.
